Deposit:Call for pricing- deposit due at time of setup by CC.
Pick-up Day:Thursday: East of Western, 7th Avenue and Anderson Blvd, both sides. Friday: West of Western, 7th Avenue and Anderson Blvd.
Trash:All trash must be contained in 33 gallon plasitc bags or cans not to exceed 50 pounds a piece with one sticker attached to each.
Recycling:All recycle must be placed in a recycle bin or continer no larger then 25 gallon. Recycle no longer needs to be separated. Plastics 1-7, aluminum/tin, glass, (brown, clear, green) and all paper/cardboard may be placed into the same bin. Styrofoam is no longer accepted (plastic #6). Cardboard:Cardboard moving boxes must be flattened and if they are oversized boxes/wardrobe boxes make sure to cut in half and will be taken as recycle. No trash in cardboard boxes will be accepted
Yardwaste:All yardwaste must be contained in 33 gallon brown paper yardwaste bags with one sticker attached to each bag. No cans allowed at this time for yardwaste. The yardwaste program for Geneva is March 1st through December 15th.
Brush:All brush must be in four by two feet bundles at the curb with the blunt cut end facing toward the curb. Brush may be bundled with string or twine with a sticker attached to each bundle. City of Geneva sends chipper and resident must contact city.
Large/Bulk Items:Large items such as bicycle, table, chair, and mattress ECT will be picked up on regular pick up days provided that each item has a sticker attached. Limit two large items per week.
Construction/ Carpeting:Carpeting; Eight rolls per week rolled and tied no longer than 4 foot lengths & two foot diameter rolls with one sticker attached to each individual roll. All construction debris is an extra charge please call for pricing.
Appliances:All appliances must be placed at the curb, there is a fee that must be paid priop to pick up please call for pricing. Doors must be removed off of refrigerators/freezers.
Other:All trash, recycling, and yardwaste must be out by 6am on the day of collection or the night before. Delivery: call for pricing a one time charge is due at the time of setup by CC. Motor oil: refer to the City of Geneva public works 630/232-1501.
