Senior Discount:Elderly residents 65 years and older may use the prepaid city of Aurora bags.

Pick-up Day:Monday through Friday

Trash:All trash must be contained in 33 gallon plastic bags or cans not to exceed 50 pounds a piece with one sticker attached to each.

Recycling:Placed in a recycle bin no larger than 28 gal. Recycle no longer needs to be separated. Plastics 1-7, aluminum/tin, glass (brown, clear, blue, green) all paper/cardboard may be in same bin. Cardboard:Cardboard moving boxes must be flattened 3' x 3'. If they are oversized boxes/wardrobe boxes, make sure to cut them in half and they will be taken as recycle. No trash in cardboard boxes will be accepted.

Yardwaste:All yardwaste must be contained in 33 gallon brown paper yardwaste bags with one sticker attached to each bag. No cans allowed at this time for yardwaste. 50 lb. limit.

Brush:All brush must be neatly stacked at the curb with the blunt cut end facing toward the curb, no longer than four foot lengths and no branches may exceed four inches in diameter. City residents do not have to bundle the brush.

Large/Bulk Items:Large items such as bicycles, tables, chairs, and mattresses ECT will be picked up on regular pick up days provided that each item has a sticker attached. Limit two large items per week.

Construction/ Carpeting:Construction debris: Is an extra charge and an "estimate" note must be put through for supervisor to check out. Carpeting: rolled and tied no longer than four foot lengths and two foot diameter rolls with one sticker attached to each individual roll. Please call.

Other:Special pick up: All riding lawnmowers are an extra charge and two regular tires will be picked up per week as long as they are off of the rim and one sticker must be attached to each tire. A note must be put through for the supervisor to pick up. Please call.
